Darling Downs Insurance Brokers Pty Ltd, established in November 1991 by Peter McKenzie and Paul Munson was originally called Warwick & District Insurance Brokers Pty Ltd. The reason behind this name change in September 2001 was to reflect the geographic area we now service.

2015 saw Brad Millard and Andrew Munson become minor shareholders. In July 2018 Peter and Paul retired from the business. Brad and Andrew purchased the remaining shares of the company and are now both working directors.

Having two offices, one in Toowoomba and one in Warwick allow us to offer personal service to our diverse insurance market. The Granite Belt fruit and wine industry has different needs to our Condamine Crop insurers, Dairy industry clients and western graziers. More diverse again is the insurance we offer our Co-operatives and Aboriginal Land Councils and Industrial Special Risks policy holders.

Our brokerage with a staff of 10 dedicated people who have a combined insurance experience of over 150 years like to think we are “Large enough to trust but small enough to care”.
